Welcome to Kitsilano Rock School

Established in 2005, the Kitsilano Rock School is a program designed to help aspiring musicians learn to play rock and roll in a group setting.
Located In beautiful Vancouver British Columbia Canada, the school offers a fully equipped rehearsal room and a professional multi instrumentalist to mentor and train musicians.
The program is geared for kids and adults, offering instruction tailored to each group's needs.
The kids program runs for 2 hours a week for a total of 12 weeks and focuses on developing repertoire and team spirit, setting and accomplishing goals through the process of learning and polishing a set of music for a live performance.
Adult programs are similar but are not restricted by time limits, allowing novice musicians a place to develop their skill set in an exciting and supportive environment.
The fees for the program are $ 40.00 per student per week or $ 160.00 per month.
Instructor David Danylchuk has over 20 years of experience playing music, including a Diploma in Jazz Studies from St. Francis Xavier University, and several years playing in various original music projects. He has released cds with Kings of The Moon and Noah Nine and has written and produced songs for television and movies.
He has a well developed sense of musical styles and is an accomplished guitarist, bass player, drummer, keyboard player and vocalist, with a passion for the music and for teaching .
